Welcome to Lazy River Lodge!

Lazy River Lodge is a 3BR/3.5BA riverfront home located in an extremely private, quiet, and picturesque community on the New River in Laurel Springs, just outside Jefferson, NC. Step into your open plan mountain home overlooking a large grassy yard to play in and right on the banks of the New River.

The main level includes the en-suite master bedroom with vaulted ceiling, stone fireplace, open-plan kitchen/dining room and powder room. Head upstairs and enjoy an open loft with a shuffleboard table, additional seating, a queen sleeper sofa, and a king bedroom with two twin beds and a full bath.

The lower level features a custom bunk room with a queen bed and 4 twin XLs, a second living room with a TV and gas fireplace, pool table, dart board, and a full bath. Outside, off the lower deck, you'll find the patio hot tub where you can relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the tranquil New River. Just steps away, you can build a fire in the fire pit or walk down to the water on a specially constructed river access path with steps down to the river. The river is perfect for swimming and relaxing, kayaking, paddling, tubing, fly fishing and much more. Locals love the NC mountain trout and roost right outside the door. There is parking for four (4) or more cars at the property.

Proximity and direct access to the New River and a large usable yard for people to run around, play frisbee or enjoy a picnic make Lazy River Lodge truly unique among our vacation rentals.

Lazy River Lodge is less than six (6) miles from New River State Park where you can enjoy hiking trails, fishing, canoe and kayak ramp, picnic and shelter areas. Canoes, kayaks and Zaloo tubes are also nearby if your group wants to explore by raft or a guided fly fishing tour of the New River. About 20 minutes from downtown West Jefferson/Jefferson, Jefferson Landing Golf Course, Mount Jefferson State Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway, your nearby adventures are endless. Take a stroll through downtown West Jefferson and enjoy the local art, charm and amazing food.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

You can cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, half of the amount paid so far will be refunded. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival date will not be refunded. If you take out travel insurance and the reason for cancellation is covered, you can get a full refund.
